Positives:These work fine for the price. Sturdy. Packaging was fine, individually bubble-wrapped. No instructions, but none needed really. Welds look good enough. Rather than use the included expansion bolts - which look fine, I splurged and used 3/8” x 3” Tapcon concrete screws, because I was going into block. The 0.5” hole punches are on 4” centers, and 2” off center - that made the install an even measurement. I loaded them up with new REP Fitness old school iron plates, and that’s where I found a quality issue in the diameter of the tube, but was workable. The negatives:The backplate on all 6 mounts had a slight arch, prob ok, because my wall is not perfectly straight either. Five of the six mounts worked fine; the tube of one wasn’t perfectly round, and measured 2.015625” at one point, causing scrapes (see the photo) from and to a 2” Olympic plate. But, it turned out, that there was also one mount that was equally smaller. (And, yes there’s variance in weight plate hole diameters as well, point being - do some mount-to-plate pairing like I did, and the the installation hack… do all that pairing before you install them :) Some black touch-up paint will do the trick, but could have been easier.Again for the price point, they worked and look good. Enjoy the photos.
