Although the title now points to a set of disposable plates, the item I'm actually reviewing today is a box of 250 disposable forks. These are from Restaurantware's eco-friendly line of PLA-based plastic, (a plant-based plastic) and, the forks are BPI Certified for commercial composting. They are not heavy-duty by any means, being quite slim, compact, and significantly shorter than my normal metal cutlery, and I think even calling them Premium might be stretching it, but they do work fine, and you get a ton of them in the box for a reasonable price. Additionally, I was delighted to discover that they can withstand brief immersion in boiling liquid, and indefinite immersion in simmering liquid. The forks are 6.5" long, and I'd call the color more of an off-white than a true white. The tines splay or flare out slightly at the tip, but it doesn't seem to affect their stability or performance. I've been very pleased with this cutlery so far, and I rated the product 5 out of 5 stars
