These plates are gorgeous, they even have a nice little edge on them to avoid run off from liquids. However, in their hurry to tell you how great they are there's really only one tiny spot on the page that says non-microwavable. I made the mistake of thinking that non breakable meant microwave safe. So that is really my fault to a degree, but doesn't that also mean that a microwave can break them? Just saying that I think that should be made a bit more apparent. Like I said though, they are nice. They're light and haven't taken so much as a scratch so far after several uses.It was a such a cheap brand ever:(Brother loves them
